EU Rural Funding Event - January 2017
Held at the Red Lodge Millennium Centre, Suffolk this event provided the opportunity for delegates to hear about EU funding opportunities for projects with a strong rural focus across the GCGP and New Anglia LEP areas.
This event helped ensure that local stakeholders were well prepared to take advantage of funding opportunities under EAFRD and LEADER whilst they were still available.
ESF BBO Launch Event - November 2016
The European Social Fund and the Big Lottery Fund are co-financing four projects in the GCGP LEP area under the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) programme. The projects are delivering support for people who are socially isolated, financially excluded or who have complex and multiple barriers to preparing for, finding and sustaining work.
All four projects are being delivered by local partnerships of organisations, who will work closely together to ensure potential participants are supported as effectively as possible by the right project at the right time.
GCGP LEP hosted a launch event to showcase the four projects – to increase knowledge of what each project will deliver, who is eligible to participate and how support can be accessed. This launch provided an opportunity for delegates to hear from the delivery organisations (Cambridge Housing Society, Papworth Trust, Peterborough Plus and TCHC), and network with a wide range of organisations involved in referring to and delivering these projects.

Hosted by GCGP LEP, delegates found out more about ERDF and how it could help their organisations, as well as key information on specific project funding criteria, and examples of what can be funded.
Delegates heard from GCGP LEP, as well Mark Joslyn, ERDF Sustainability Manager for Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG).
