ERDF Low Carbon Projects Workshop Feb 2016

IMG_0789This half-day event helped organisations and low carbon professionals to understand and begin to plan new projects suitable for the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Priority Axis 4 (PA4).

Ran by the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Enterprise Partnership (LEP), delegates found out more about ERDF and how it could help their organisations, as well as key information on specific project funding criteria, and examples of what can be funded.

Delegates heard from GCGP LEP, as well Mark Joslyn, ERDF Sustainability Manager for Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG).

EAFRD Workshop July 2015

IMG_0452On 23rd July, The Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP and New Anglia LEP joined forces to host a Rural Funding event to over 100 delegates, to launch the first European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) project calls.

The event gave an overview of rural funding schemes available across the GCGP and New Anglia LEP areas, as well as giving delegates the chance to hear practical case studies from businesses which have previously benefitted from Rural Funding schemes.

Information was also given on EAFRD, LEADER Programmes, The Eastern Agri-Tech Growth Initiative and the Countryside Productivity scheme.

ERDF Workshop March 2015

IMG_0215

The Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP recently held a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Bidding Round Information Event at the Future Business Centre in Cambridge in March 2015.

The aim of the ERDF event was to bring partners up to date with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) programme, following the Government’s first limited call for project applications in mid-March.

LEP ERDF Facilitators hosted workshops to guide applicants on the process in advance of the July call.

ESIF Workshops Nov & Dec 2014

IMG_0080The ESIF events in November and December included talks from the LEP team, practical case studies from past recipients and interactive workshops with ERDF Facilitators and delegates from the European Social Fund (ESF); the events aimed to brief partners on the process of the ESIF application and help develop project ideas in readiness for when the funding becomes available in 2015.

The Government asked Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) to draft a European Funding Feedback_CambsStrategy for 2014 to 2020 for their area, covering the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Social Fund (ESF) and part of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).

To help us find out more about project areas or ideas from the local area we ran two workshops in August 2013.
